Wow...2008...gone so fast.
In a blink of an eye...before we know it...
As we look back to the first day of school...like in my case, the first day of Form 2...
All the memories that fly by...sad times, happy times, angry times, stupid times...all gone...
All that's left are the memories...which will one day be just a tiny dot etched in the corners of our minds...
Life was something God gave to us...and we should be thankful we were chosen by Him to carry out what He would do on Earth...
To love.
To care.
To spread His Word.
To heal.
To pray and worship Him.
To trust.
And many many other positive things.
Be thankful, cos' when you know you livin and breathin every single moment now, while someone's life has ended in this world.
Be thankful that you were even born, unlike those little babies that die of abortion or miscarriage.
Be thankful that God specially chose each and every one of us to glorify His name and to share His love among others.
Yes, the purpose of Him giving us life is to fulfill His Word in our "first life", before moving on to our "second life" which is eternal. =)
I just thought of this concept. I figured that our life on Earth is like a trial to determine if we earn a place in heaven or not, judging by how much good we have done. It is a fair thing to do, we are given a mind of our own, privilege of making decisions on our own and so on...
So it's up to each and everyone of us..let's not take the wrong path.
For if we do, we'll suffer much more in our "second life"..just that we'll be suffering in Hell rather than being in blissful paradise.
So if we have done anything bad like:
* Satanism- okay, I listen to satanic songs but I don't practice satanism
* Premarital Sex
* Well, anything that is sinful and unclean
Please, let us all not hesitate to repent...it doesn't mean we have to go for Confession in Church or what...just be really really sorry for our sins and ask God for forgiveness...I'm sure He'll forgive us...=)
So live 2009 and the coming years to the fullest, everyone! Life could be short or long, depending on how we live it. By drugs, sex and alcohol or by faith, trust, love and hope. Our lives is in God's hand, He could take it away anytime, anywhere. Never blame God for someone's death or a dying person...as He has his reasons for everything.
So Happy 2009 everyone! Live in the light of God...XD
